Recently went to London and met a wing - he is getting tight at a bizarre kind of day game. Impressive stuff.

- Jump in front of the set - literally jump in front of them - stop them walking. Apologize if necessary, and go direct.

- <insert game here> build up some rapport, and close.

- Find a new set

Happy to demo this to anyone (I've seen indirect game mostly in Manchester), scary but interesting stuff.

Any thoughts?

Interesting. From what I've read on day game this goes against the grain, but then there's always new ways of interpreting one technique from another and the subtleties in involved in how this comes across to a target.

I've not tried any direct approaches with regards to day game but have tried several indirect approaches by mainly opening them asking directions. This seemed to work well and I'd say a third of the targets seemed fairly willing to carry on the interaction past the initial opener.

I am interested in expanding my interest in day game, especially as I like oriental girls who are few and far between in bars and clubs in Manchester. So is day game you have dabbled with much Anthony?

I have not done a lot of street game, that which I have done has been direct (i.e. start with a compliment). I did try a couple of times with the asking directions style. I found that it felt really wierd to move from asking directions to getting the number and I don't really need directions to Nando's (there's one behind Odder, the Arndale, the Printworks and the Trafford Centre. That's about all the spicy chicken I'm ever gonna need ).

There's a guy I was reading about a while ago called Dr Yen (works for Love Systems). His day game is "Excuse me I just had to come up and say you look fucking gorgeous".

Yea - this kind of day game is incredibly bold - you literally jump in front of the set. Even if it is a 2 or 3-set+, you still go direct. K - ask me for a demo any time we're out - I need to push myself!! Some sets will literally walk past you, but at least you know they are not interested - this kind of method will never be 100%. I tend not to get much AA, but this kind of stuff does get my balls going.

I've done a bit of indirect day game - I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I don't get much AA and I do close. I really don't think the directions opener is too hot, at least from my experience. Transitioning from directions at all to me seems too awkward.

nova - I too am into oriental girls. They are rare in the night, but I do find them and tend to do quite well. Often they are in mixed sets, so you need to be OK with that. Oriental day game - I need to work more on this, but I don't think direct works too well. Do you have much experience in this?

Getting good at street game (which I am not yet) seems to me to be quite advanced. You can be anywhere, and you see a hot girl and you open. Crazy - the opposite to my full-time AFC days when I'd see a nice girl, think something, and walk on...

Man i'd love to see that stuff. I need to get good at day game as all the practice i'm doing is out at night, although the stuff from night game is changing me 24x7 as i'm noticing women looking at me more and and getting great at eye contact, just never opened during the day. So yeah, love to see it some time.

I don't have much experience with Day Game really. I've only tried it a handful of times and I have always been fairly indirect, either commenting on a girl's style of a bag she is carrying, or directions somewhere. These were more exercises for me in breaking down social barriers.

I did however see the potential in this and thought I might be useful in tackling the more reserved targets like oriental girls.
